* WHAT...Flooding caused by earlier excessive rainfall is ongoing.



* WHERE...Northwestern Harrison County in north central Missouri...

  Northern Andrew County in northwestern Missouri...

  Atchison County in northwestern Missouri...

  Gentry County in northwestern Missouri...

  Holt County in northwestern Missouri...

  Nodaway County in northwestern Missouri...

  Worth County in northwestern Missouri...



* WHEN...Until 930 PM CDT Tuesday.



* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams

  continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 925 AM CDT, Between 1 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen

    across northern Missouri during the past 24 hours. Transportation

    department officials report road closures resulting from

    flooding.

  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is

    expected.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Maryville, Albany, Tarkio, Stanberry, Mound City, Rock Port,

    Grant City, Fairfax, Burlington Junction, Hopkins, Ridgeway,

    Ravenwood, Maitland, Eagleville, New Hampton, Skidmore, Craig,

    Irena, Athelstan and Barnard.
