Light winds out of the east and southeast were noted at most locations, and low temperatures ranged from the middle 60s across northern Kansas to the low 70s across far southern Kansas. Showers and storms are expected to shift eastward through the remainder of the morning hours before exiting southeast Kansas by mid morning. Under clearing skies, afternoon high temperatures today are forecast to range from the low 80s across northeast Kansas to the upper 90s across western Kansas. Relatively light east winds are anticipated across the state throughout the day. Chances for showers and storms will return to portions of western Kansas late tonight into early Tuesday morning, while the remainder of the Sunflower State remains dry. Overnight low temperatures will once again range from the middle 60s across northern Kansas to near 70 degrees across far southern Kansas under partly to mostly cloudy skies. $$
