A few rain showers impacted far southeast and northwest Kansas 

overnight. Rainfall amounts were fairly light. Under partly to 

mostly cloudy skies, predawn temperatures were in the 40s and 50s 

across the state.



Partly to mostly cloudy skies and below average temperatures will

encompass Kansas today, with forecast highs mostly in the 60s. A

few showers and thunderstorms are possible over western Kansas

this afternoon, as an upper level disturbance approaches from the

west, but strong or severe thunderstorms are not expected.



Chances for showers and perhaps a few thunderstorms will spread

east across Kansas tonight. Strong or severe thunderstorms are not

expected. Forecast low temperatures are in the 40s and 50s.
