Through 8 am, a cluster of showers over the Middle Keys as well as 

the surrounding nearshore waters and the eastern distant Straits of 

Florida will continue moving to the west northwest at near 15 knots. 

This activity may move into the nearshore waters north of the Lower 

Keys over the next hour, potentially even spark new activity for the 

extreme eastern Lower Keys. Mariner encountering this activity can 

expect reduced visibility from heavy downpours and wind gusts to near

25 knots. On land, some island communities of the Middle Keys may 

receive a quick few hundredths to quarter of an inch of rainfall.
