  Waters from Oregon Inlet to Cape Hatteras NC from 20 to 60 NM...



* Until 915 AM EDT.



* At 813 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 25 nm east of

  Ar160, or 27 nm east of Rodanthe, moving northeast at 30 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
